This form of Bamboo was orginally developed for use as railroad ties in China. The process yielded a vey beautiful railroad tie but much more could be done. Utilizing a specially developed systems of placing heat and pressure on the pulverized banboo fiber an extremely compressed piece was formed using food grade bonding agents. The same bonding agent used on all of the other bamboo pieces.
